Home away from home: The MDHS Incantato Concert Tours hotel in Padua, Italy

The 4-star NH Mantegna hotel in Padua, Italy, won the "Certificate of Excellence in 2013" award by tripdavisor and is located close to the historic city center of Padua. Giotto’s fresco cycle in the nearby Scrovegni Chapel is just a few steps away from the hotel.

All guest rooms provide contemporary furniture and premium amenities—from a workstation and wireless internet access to a minibar, safe and an LCD TV. Each of the 20 square-meter Standard Rooms has carpeted floors and comfortable furniture. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and a roomy shower/bathtub.

Situated on the 12th floor of the hotel, the Parnaso Restaurant's offers a spectacular views of the city below. Parnaso's cuisine is equal parts tradition and innovation—with classic local dishes reinvented with contemporary techniques and international accents.

"There are at least four essential ingredients for a successful and rewarding concert tour for young people and their sponsors —appropriate concert settings, advance publicity, opportunities for learning about the areas visited (including exchanges with the local youth), and good logistical planning. The recent tour of the Akron, Ohio Summit Children's Touring Choir through Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria was successful indeed. The venues were most impressive and beautiful.
